Piazza Navona is renowned for the market area it once was and attractions that adorn the famous square include Bernini’s spectacular fountain, the Fountain of the Four Rivers. This depicts the rivers Nile, Ganges, Danube and Plata.
Today the Piazza Navona is a lively place with loads of cafes and buskers providing great entertainment, surrounding it. The square features interesting and pretty old buildings, the beautiful Sant’Agnese Church and stunning fountains.
If you’re here in the winter, it is childs paradise as it is a crowded with stalls selling figurines, cribs, toys, sweets and decorations.
