Overview
If you want to stay at a new and cosmopolitan hotel when you visit Rome, make this it. The Hotel Saint Paul is a modern 4 star hotel located in the EUR district to the south of the city centre.
The hotel is called after St. Paul's Basilica, which is in fact the second largest basilica in Rome after St. Peter's. The University of Rome is also located close by. Although it's not in the city centre the hotel is within easy walking distance of the metro station.
The hotel isn't very obvious from the street so look out for the bright blue glass sign on the railing just in front of the hotel. To get to the hotel door you descend 10 steps - if you've lots of luggage, just ask the hotel porter to bring it down to the reception area for you.
When you walk through the automatic glass doors you'll enter a very bright, fresh and modern lobby with a reception desk in one corner and a bar in the other corner.
This hotel lives up to its 4 star rating. It's beautifully decorated throughout with soft colours and neutral tones to create a relaxing mood. If you're looking for a hotel to de stress and relax after a hectic day in the city, then look no further.
