Hotel des Artistes is a pleasant 3 star hotel located in the Termini district of Rome. It has a great location just a stone's throw from Rome's main metro and train station (Termini Station), where you can get take the underground to just about anywhere in the city.

The hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants, bars and shops and is within walking distance of famous attractions such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and Capitalize Hill.

Hotel des Artistes is a 5 storey orange building on the side of a quiet street. Although its exterior could do with some freshening-up, the hotel is clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated throughout and it's a real joy for anyone who appreciates art. From the moment you enter the lobby you'll be greeted by antiques and beautiful paintings. As well as that, each guestroom has an original painting from the beginning of the 20th century!

The hotel's reception area is quite small but it's welcoming and has a lively atmosphere. It's located on the fifth floor of the hotel, which you access using the lift in the lobby of the ground floor. There are six steps to this lift - no trouble if you're travelling light! Arriving at the reception you'll be greeted by very friendly staff and offered a complimentary map of the city.

You'll get a personal and friendly service at this hotel, as it is family run, so they really do try to make you feel at home.
